If your windows 7 disc is lost or damaged, but you need to reinstall it or customized installation. Don't worry! now Microsoft lets you download official ISO file. Happy hour started I guess, now can burn iso to a disc or you can create portable bootloader easily. But you must have a genuine or in other word a valid key to download ISO file.
That's indicating if you brought your windows 7 disc from the retailer then you just need the key that provided with dise for verification. If you don't your product key or lost it then again don't be worried. You can find your key through 3rd party app like Magical Jelly Bean keyFinder or Product Key Finder
However, if your windows come along with your laptop, probably an OEM version, which will not work with Microsoft's new website.
