Google Street View Now Available in Bangladesh
Dhaka, Chittagong and Dhaka-Chittagong highway is initially available in Google Street View.
The streets and important sites of capital of Bangladesh, port city Chittagong and highway router of Dhaka-Chittagong is now visible to anyone. All credits goes to Google's street view car that was roaming our country for last couple months and great effort of volunteers of Mapping Bangladesh (
www.mappingbd.org).
Already a good portion of streets and important sites of Dhaka and Chittagong is covered. Very soon this service will available in 64 districts in Bangladesh. Smartphone and computer users can easily access this brilliant feature from
www.google.com/streetview
Google officially started its Google Street View project of Bangladesh on November 5, 2012. Worldwide there are 50 countries has been captured in Google Street View. USA was the first country where Google start their street view program in 2007.
Google street view can be accessible through Google Map and Google earth. Google is capturing images as 360 degree panoramic view so that viewer can see clean image of that particular area or road.
